Hyperthreading enabled and machdep.hlt_logical_cpus=0 set (allows logical
CPUs to task):

Interestingly, if you disable logical CPU tasking
(machdep.hlt_logical_cpus=1), cpu performance goes DOWN a little but
memory performance goes UP a little more, and the average is slightly
